The Richard De Lone Special Housing Project's Marin Human Race

Anyone who lives in the Marin area might like to dig out their vintage/haute couture trainers and start training by sprinting swiftly around the block and beyond.

The Richard de Lone Special Housing Project is having its 3rd annual run in the 2012 Marin Human Race on May 12 at the Marin Civic Center lagoon and fairgrounds.

This year, the event's runners will once again feature Whitman Donaldson and Kelsey Formslag, both of whom have Prader-Willi Syndrome. Fantastic! Also running will be Richard’s sister Caroline, several of Richie’s teachers from Cypress School, and a fabulous team of neighborhood kids, Will Coomber, Lucas Alper, and the Gerraty kids, Jasmine, Frankie, and Olivia.

'By sponsoring Whitman, Kelsey or any member of our team, you help move us closer to the day when children and adults with PWS receive high-quality residential care,' The de Lone family say.

Lesley de Lone, who is Richard de Lone's mother will be rockin' for her son, likewise her daughter Caroline, Richie's sister. They are currently running their guts out, preparing for the Great Race. They are so fit, they could easily qualify for the London Olympics!
